Planning your corporate end-of-year event and what to let go in 2021? When do we need to exhibit our Covid Immunity Card and when don’t we? What are your options for arranging a Christmas event this year? Let’s plan a Covid safe, last minute corporate Christmas party!
The events market is still reeling from the scourge of COVID, and while there are clear government regulations governing the conditions under which corporate events can be held and who can attend, the hosting of events still places a heavy responsibility on the shoulders of business leaders. However, it is important to be aware of the current regulations and those who comply with the law have nothing to fear.
Below is a brief summary of the types of events that you can safely organize under the current COVID regulations until the end of 2021, with or without a Covid Immunity Card.
1. Outdoor Christmas festival with gastronomic adventures and an Alpine flair
If you have your own yard, premises or large car park, a company Christmas fair is the perfect alternative to a Christmas party.
Why? Ask why? Because you can host your end-of-year event in-house, without having to rent a venue, this way you can spend the hundreds of thousands you save on trendy gastro attractions or even mini activities that will put a smile on your face even in the cold winter. The outdoor event is open to everyone up to 500 people, no patronage card required. It can be an after-work, evening getaway, or you can organise it during the day, in which case everyone arrives when they have a free hour. This also avoids queuing at the counters and spreads the numbers out nicely throughout the day. You can meet colleagues face-to-face, talk in small groups or even hold an annual review.
Convenient, safe, yet adaptable for creative event solutions.
2. Corporate Christmas party at a rented venue
Although we don’t really remember it, it’s nothing more than a classic pre-Covid Christmas party. It can be extravagant, with a pub atmosphere, modern or elegant. With delicious food, punchy drinks, DJ, party and unique event elements to suit your company. How great were those parties?
Indoor music and dance events require a Covid Immunity Card, regardless of the number of people, but at least in 2021, there is no need to give up the well-established Christmas events. Many people are waiting this year, as last-minute Christmas event planning has become a real trend. Most venues have capacity for even the busiest dates, with a big rush expected in the first half of November.
3. Online events
If you don’t want to take any risks at all and want to be 100% safe, we recommend the online event space. Even after all the home office and Zoom meetings, we’ll still organize an event that keeps your eyes glued to the screen, no idle time, no ZzzzZzzzzzz…
